Old Albanian RFC is pleased to announce the appointment of Gavin Hogg to the position of Head Coach.
Gavin is an ambitious, results-driven and forward-thinking coach with a 13-year track record of coaching at all levels of the game in both England and New Zealand.

More recently, Gavin has enjoyed success at Bury St Edmunds RFC, leading the Suffolk club to two promotions in three seasons – winning London One North in 2012-13, and then finishing as champions of National Three London & SE in 2014-15, resulting in promotion to National League Two South.

Gavin will take up his new role immediately following the end of the current season, and he will be working closely with OA’s Director of Rugby Bruce Millar, to further consolidate the OA First XV’s status in National One, whilst implementing an integrated coaching and playing structure across all our senior teams at Woollams.

Gavin is 35 years old, married with two sons, and he currently lives in Stowmarket. He is a school teacher by profession, and he will be looking to move closer to St Albans in the coming weeks.

We look forward to welcoming Gavin and his family to St Albans, and we wish him every possible success in his new role.
